About Me

I have a passion for several talents: writing, music, and photography, just to name a few. Inspired by a drive for creative endeavors, I've never been shy to get my feet wet in learning a new skill. In December of 2016, I was hired by SDL (now RWS) as a creative writer on the core team for Samsung's virtual assistant Bixby. Since then, I've grown as a writer, and I honed my writing skills in dialogue writing, micro fiction, grammar, comedy, non-fiction stories, and much more.

For the past couple of years, I've also been the sole creator of original music for Bixby's entertainment database. I compose orchestral/cinematic scores for stories, audioventures, and I also compose and produce backtracks for Bixby's raps, which is some of the highest-optic content for the users. I've even expanded my skills into experimental content, i.e. audio manipulation of some entertainment responses. My background in several of these skillsets has lead to a unique take on content creation. With my ever-expanding horizons, it's given me a lateral thought process to solving problems.

Written Works

Live content that I've written can be found below. It includes edits either from myself, a team member, or the client. You can also see the triggering utterance at the top of the screen. When writing, emoji icons are included to elevate the content. Some responses also include audio support, e.g. a slowed TTS for "Why do sloths make bad comedians?" or sound effects, such as laughter. The Audioventure video is a sample of a CYOA-styled story that we worked on. The stories have sound effects and music; however, when screen recording them, the sound can't be recorded. They are currently live for Bixby.
